Add extension of time for a Planning Permit

If a planning permit was issued in SPEAR and a third party e.g. the owner, applies for an extension of time for the planning permit outside of SPEAR, the Responsible Authority can update the SPEAR application with the request document.

This is an optional action to allow the Responsible Authority to attach the extension of time for the planning permit documents and provide the new permit expiry date in SPEAR.

Steps

You will need to complete the following steps to add the Extension of Time for a Planning Permit:

1. Select the optional action 'Add Extension of Time for a Planning Permit' from the 'Other Actions' drop down list and click on the 'go' button.
2. On the Add Extension of Time for a Planning Permit screen, select the new planning permit expiry date from the date picker.
3. To attach the extension of time for a planning permit document, browse for and attach the appropriate PDF file or type the details directly into the field provided.
4. Click "add now".
5. To complete the process, the Extension of Time for a Planning Permit must be authenticated from the Details tab.

A notification email will be sent to the Applicant Contact regarding the new planning permit expiry date.
